Ian Maddox

Ian has been a Trussville resident since 2007, although his wife Laura, is a Hewitt class of 1996 graduate, and she wears the Husky badge with pride. Ian grew up in California and Colorado before transplanting to Alabama in the early 2000’s, which also correlated with a career shift from experiential education to business, and specifically wealth management. He is a partner in the local wealth management practice, Hitchcock Maddox Financial Partners, which is a second generation family business. In recent years, Ian has had the privilege to serve on the board of directors of the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Finance Committee at First Baptist Church Trussville, coach various youth sports, and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Trussville Redevelopment Authority and is a periodic guest speaker for the Business Academy at HTHS. Ian will tell you that a perfect day would involve mountains and one (or more) of the following; a snowboard, a mountain bike, hiking boots or trail running shoes, along with family or a few close friends. He and Laura have two children, are active members at FBCT, and live in Trussville’s historic neighborhood, the Cahaba Homestead Village.
