Heather Hudspeth Johnson was born and raised in the Trussville area. She is a 1997 graduate of Hewitt Trussville. She is married to Tyler Johnson, a 1998 graduate. Together they have three children.
Heather is a public health practitioner, specializing in maternal and child health. She has over 10 years of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating maternal and child health programs and has expertise in the evaluation of early childhood education programs, including Alabama’s First Class Pre-K program and Alabama’s First Teacher, the maternal, infant, and early childhood home visiting program. Heather works for James Bell Associates. Her work focuses on providing those in early childhood education, home visiting, and related fields with technical assistance around data collection and analysis and Continuous Quality Improvement. She has a passion for helping people understand and use data to make informed decisions about their programs to improve services provided to children and their families.
